John Hartup – Non-Executive Director

John practised as a corporate lawyer for 30 years dealing with corporate finance and commercial contract matters. During this time, he acquired detailed knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry

Anton Jenkins – Chief Operations Officer, Clinigen Healthcare

Anton is a pharmacologist graduate from Leeds University, with 28 years’ experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry

He grew his career in sales and marketing roles within the Pharmaceutical industry for Searle, May & Baker, Rhone Poulenc (Sanofi Aventis), AstraZeneca, Ivax (Teva) and Roche

Latterly he was the UK MD of Meda, gaining first-hand experience of acquiring individual brands

Anton also steered Meda UK through three major company acquisitions: Viatris, 3M and Valeant

Most recently, Shaun was President of the KnowledgePoint360 Group, a global healthcare pharmaceutical information and services organisation with a $100M turnover

Shaun has extensive operational responsibility, driving many major restructuring programs, leading and directing sales and operational teams and developing strategies through strong leadership

Shaun joined Clinigen in January 2012 and brings 20 years’ commercial, strategic and operational experience to the position
Paul Thomas – Technical Director, Clinigen

Paul is a professional member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Chartered Chemist and permanent European Qualified Person (QP)

He is also a member of the UK Institute of Directors (IoD)

Paul has more than 24 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding senior QA and manufacturing posts at Parke-Davis/Warner Lambert, Nycomed-Amersham (GE Healthcare) and Penn Pharma where he was the Chief Scientific Officer
